Yoga helps the body and mind to function optimally and harmoniously. Yoga and Detoxification
Toxins accumulate in the body over time because we take our bodies for granted. We spend many hours indoors away from natural sunlight, sitting hunched over desks or computers without stretching or breathing deeply. Stale air stays in the bottom of the lungs. We over eat processed foods, don't chew enough and don't drink enough fresh, clean water. Yoga exercises and cleansing techniques clear toxins from the tissues, oxygenate the cells, bring circulation to stagnant areas and restore our natural state of health.

Yoga Salt Water Cleanse (Laghoo Shankprakshalana)
Learn how to cleanse your intestines the yoga way with an easy salt water cleanse combined with specific yoga poses that help the water move through your intestines. Once you know it, it is easy to practice this method on your own. Benefits include alleviation of gas, constipation, acidity and other digestive upsets. It encourages normal functioning of the intestines. Can be used for general detoxification.
Enema
Learn how to give yourself an enema with an enema bag. This technique can be used for general cleansing, in the case of constipation or when feeling unwell. Old stool is removed and gas expelled.
Nasal Passageway Cleansing (jala neti)
The nasal passage is our immune system's first defense against viruses and bacteria. Warm saline water is introduced to one nostril and pours out the opposite nostril. A small ceramic "neti" pot is used. This technique is surprisingly comfortable and can improve sense of smell and a feeling of clear headedness.
